Oh. My. Gaga! - Drag Race S9 Nail Art

Hey kitty girls!

Back back back again for another season of the best show on television, RuPaul's Drag Race! Even after being spoiled with two seasons last year it felt like an eternity waiting for the premiere, but it was totally worth the wait. Every queen has come to slay this year and I am certifiably gagged.

As well as being served fierce werkroom looks, we were treated to two runways and the best guest judge to ever grace the show - the amazing, incomparable Lady Gaga. The whole episode felt completely dedicated to Gaga and while I lived, I'm really looking forward to getting to know the queens a little better this week.

Somehow, out of 36 looks I managed to pick three to inspire some nail art - but I've definitely keep a few more ideas tucked in the back of my brain that you might see pop up on my Instagram in the coming weeks. Now let's see who made the cut!

Eureka O'Hara - Werkroom Entrance Look

Eureka has attitude for days - girl is quick witted and loud mouthed, and let's not even pretend this isn't what you want to see in a drag competition. I'll admit I was put off by her attitude at first, but damn if she isn't entertaining. She is going to read those queens for filth if she makes it to the reading challenge later in the season.

Honestly as a garment I wasn't crazy about her entrance look, but as nail art - yassss!

What I used:

  • Kester Black x Trophy Wife - Laguna
  • Grace-full Nail Polish - Emma*
  • Pretty Serious - Stud Muffin
  • Powder Perfect - White Stamping Polish*
  • Born Pretty Store - BPL-027 Stamping Plate
  • Emily de Molly - All the Feelings (placed iridescent glitters)

Kimora Blac - Werkroom Entrance Look

Kimora Blac is bringing us body, with cheekbones that will cut a bitch. I loved her slutty-luxe chic of sheer lace, flowing blonde hair and giant purple stole. She got a bit of a background edit in episode 1, but I'm hoping she's the bitch we deserve.

What I used:
  • Powder Perfect - Black Stamping Polish*
  • Hehe - FT006 Stamping Plate*
  • Purple flocking powder
  • Liquid latex

Valentina - Werkroom Entrance Look

Valentina is already my pick for Miss Congeniality, she's gorgeous and sweet and knows how to work the runway. I severely underestimated her after watching her Meet the Queens video, the premiere had me doing backflips. I lived for her Gaga runway and her entrance look was STUN. If she's got performance skills she could be a real contender this year!

What I used:
  • Pretty Serious - Stud Muffin
  • Powder Perfect - Recollection*
  • Powder Perfect - Black Stamping Polish*
  • Powder Perfect - Art Deco 01 Stamping Plate^
  • Cross Nail Charm

It's almost time for episode 2, so let me know your thoughts and first impressions from the premiere in the comments below!

My fav queens after week 1 are Sasha Velour, Nina Bo'Nina Brown and Valentina, but I'm hoping to see Alexis Michelle turn it out this week!
