Paint All The Nails presents... Marble!

Woohoo!

Time to link up with some of my lovely friends and create some nail art! This time around, Paint All The Nails does Marble and it's totally open to our interpretation. Water marble, dry marble, stamped marble... the possibilities are almost too much!

These were approximately my fifth attempt at doing something that attempted 'marble'. I had intially planned on continuing with my new obsession of stamped marbles (see my paper plane nail art and My Neighbour Totoro nail art) but just had too many brain farts and nothing looked good. It's been way too hot to drag/dry marble (I tried though!), but somehow I finally made a water marble work!

Strangely enough, I've always wanted to do a water marble that looks like an actual marble - you know those little round glass things people used to play with in the olden days (myself included)? Well I wasn't even thinking of that when I threw three colours in a cup of water and swirled it around, yet here we are! Not the prettiest watermarble, but it immediately makes me think of actual marbles - especially my ring finger!

I had to get ^one^ shot in where my nails actually appear to have Fairy Dust on them, not just dandruff :/
