HPB Presents: Halloween!

Hi lovelies!

This month the Hobby Polish Bloggers are doing Halloween, which means over the next week there will be dozens of creepy, scary and totally awesome nail art posts for you to enjoy - make sure you check out the linkup at the end of the post.

Halloween isn't really celebrated in Australia - a national disgrace IMO - but nothing will stop me from needing all the Halloween polish and getting a few Halloween inspired looks on my nails!

I started off with a gradient of some classic Halloween colours over a white base. I used Shades of Phoenix Dementor's Kiss* and Fred's Courage*, and they were a total dream to use in a gradient.

I dotted half the nail (100% inspired by Alice of One Nail to Rule Them All) with Pretty Serious Absence and made turned one dot on each nail into a spider shadow crab, assassin of the night. According to my friend Morgan, shadow crabs are best known for eating souls and spitting them up on the Beach of Despair. Morbid stuff. Much scarier than spiders. Which is absolutely not what I was going for.
