Swatched: Bettie Pain Polish

Hi lovelies!

Does anyone here follow Snowglobe Nails on Instagram? She's one of my favourite local nail artists, and over the last year has also been one of my favourite polish makers with her line Bettie Pain Polish. Obviously I was feeling a certain part of the colour spectrum the day I bought these!

One Hand Washes The Other - Solid Scents

Hi lovelies!

Something a bit different from me today, just because I thought switching things up a little every now and then might be fun! On a whim I purchased some OHWTO solid scent samples from Femme Fatale and I've been loving them so much I had to share.

Swatches: Glittering Elements Mystery Box - Party Like it's 1999!

Hi lovelies!

Today I have some swatches of the June Glittering Elements mystery box that I've had sitting on my nail desk staring out at me for weeks begging for attention.

Casey has been releasing monthly mystery boxes and this is the second one I've bought and loved - there's always a subtle beauty or unique element to her creations that make it worth the risk of getting a colour I don't like. The June box did include a pink, but the other two are so beautiful I don't even care!

Stamping Saturday: Ya Qin An stamping plate review

Hi lovelies!

I've been really getting into stamping lately, so when Born Pretty Store contacted me to review some products I made sure I chose a few stamping plates to try.

Today I've done a some looks using a new to me brand, Ya Qin An. I don't know a great deal about the brand, they only seem to be available via Born Pretty Store. I was immediately drawn to plate Y021 (product #20727) because - poop! But first, something less immature.

The A-Z of Untried: Swatches, K?

Hi lovelies!

So it took some time to recover from the sad fact of owning zero untried 'J' polishes - someone name a polish after me already and we won't have this problem again!

So we move onto K, which has something bright, something shimmery and something really spectacular. Excited?

Nail art with Emily de Molly and Grace-full

Hi lovelies!

As a kind of side quest to my A to Z of Untrieds, I'm also trying to pick an untried to use when I'm doing some nail art. This lead me to a random selection of this gorgeous micro glitter from Emily de Molly which I couldn't stop myself from swatching. I was all "hey I'll just use this in a skittle" and the polish was all "no, swatch me, I'm so glorious!"

I FORBID IT!

Chevron nail art with ILNP Cold Fusion

Hi lovelies!

Today I thought I'd show off my favourite ILNP flakie after using it as the base for some stamped chevron nail art recently. I've also just realised it's a super appropriate polish for the current Australian season. I don't know about you all, but winter is starting to take a toll on my skin. If I slack off even once with my moisturising routine I feel like I need to bathe in lotion for a while :/

The A to Z of Untried: All About I

Hi lovelies!

It's been a little bit between untried posts but we're back, baby! Happy to report I currently have enough room in the drawer to fit at least 20 polishes, so here's to progress!

My favourite things: June 2015

Hi lovelies!

I have a serious case of the gimmies right now. One month into winter and I'm totally embracing all the lovely warm colours Aussie brands are bringing out, then on the other side of the world some incredible brights are grabbing my attention and I just want everything! There could be some inspiration in there - dark muted tones paired with something ultra bright? Maybe I'll do that this month!

But first, let's look back at all the excellence June brought!
