Crimes - Blood Brothers Nail Art

Hi lovelies!

I might be the only person in the world excited about the nail art I did today, but dammit if I'm not over the moon with it. I've missed a week (or two?) of the Pick n Mix challenge due to a heavy swatching load but I jumped right back in there today! I was worried I'd missed these prompts of Music and Not Worn Enough but I was in luck, so I had to do some nails inspired by the cover of one of my favourite albums of all time, Crimes by The Blood Brothers.

About a year ago I had a custom polish inspired by the Crimes cover art created by Two Birds Lacquer, a white crelly with periwinkle and cornflower hexes (yes, I even asked for those specific colours. I'm that person), pink triangles and matte black hexes. I definitely have not worn it enough!

My index/middle finger are a base of Sally Hansen White On, my favourite white. I then stamped some trees from Emily de Molly plate EDM07 using (L-R) Grace-full Jaw Droppin', Grace-full Jacinta and Ulta3 Pink Peony.

My ring finger is two coats of Two Birds Lacquer Crimes - I love how opaque it is while still letting the glitters peek through!

My pinky is White On again with a delicately freehanded crying diamond eye using Ulta3 Black Satin.

Not gonna lie - I'm super proud of these nails! I finally got the hang of multi-colour stamping and I managed some seriously fine line work without getting all blobbed up - I think the sketchiness of the inspiration helped in that case though.

These are not my first album cover inspired nails - I've done a few more if you wanna take a peek!
