The A to Z of Untried - Celestial Cosmology

Hi lovelies!

Time again for more untrieds - the gorgeous things I'm finding hidden away are blowing my mind! Great purchasing decisions, past self! I was surprisingly overwhelmed with options for the letter C but it was pretty easy to pick two to blog about - you'll see why.

Celestial Cosmetics - Obsidian

Obsidian here is a little bit of a queue jumper. Despite being released in August last year, I only picked this up a couple of months ago in a sale. It had been on my wishlist since the moment I saw it though for it's pure charcoal perfection.

This is about as dark as grey gets - I think I swatched this as I was getting used to my new lighting setup and it didn't photograph well. Sad face. In real life it is rich and deep, with silvery glass fleck and a subtle scattered holo. I love how it balances right on the edge of black but has a stunning lightness to it. The polish was released in a collaboration collection, this one being the work of Christine from Serenity Nails - check out her post on it for some really lovely swatches.

Femme Fatale Cosmetics - Cosmic Smash (Nov 2014 COTM)

Well ^@%& me.

I'm not going to say much because I'm pretty sure pictures have it covered. If you ever have the opportunity to get your hands on a bottle of Cosmic Smash, do it. This is a fiery big bang in a bottle with a stunning formula and an eternity of sparkle.

Because I am a big jerk and did not consider your feelings before telling you how beautiful these polishes are, I must now let you down easy and inform you that neither of these polishes are available in Australia anymore. Obsidian is still available from color4nails.com in a limited quantity. Put them on your wish list and hope like hell they come up in a destash!

Sorry for teasing - I promise my next post will be of beautiful things you can buy!
